Did you know that the richest 1% of the world’s population own more wealth than the bottom 99% combined?

According to Oxfam, this alarming statistic highlights the extreme concentration of wealth and the growing divide between the ultra-wealthy and the rest of us.

To put it in perspective, the top 80 people, who are part of this elite 1%, own a significant portion of the world’s wealth—likely more than the bottom 95% of the global population. This level of inequality has far-reaching consequences, affecting economic and social stability.

And another perspective, a 2020 report by Oxfam finds that just 8 men have as much wealth as the poorest 50% of the world’s population, roughly 3.6 billion people.

As billionaire fortunes continue to rise, the disparity between the ultra-rich and the rest of society becomes more pronounced. Addressing this issue requires a multifaceted approach, but first and foremost the return to honest money.

Do you think this level of wealth concentration would be possible without governmet and banks ability to print currency out of thin air?

Let’s raise awareness about wealth inequality and work towards a more sustainable future for everyone.
